• Delivered a programme of topside work scopes valued at an annual capital expenditure of £1.5mn - £2mn on Apache’s Forties Field; including £2.4mn upgrades to pig launcher and receiver vessels, pipework, valves & access platforms, £1.1mn modifications to corrosion inhibitor pumping systems and decommissioning of defective equipment

• Roles & Responsibilities:
- Complete technical and financial accountability for work scopes through initial concept, FEED, detailed design, engineering, procurement, construction & commissioning to operational handover and closeout
- Developing and maintaining project documentation, including business cases, statements of requirements, scope of works, initiation documents and execution plans
- Supervising and coordinating Tier 2 & 3 subcontractors/suppliers
- Tendering, procurement and selection of companies relating to the award of relevant services and engineering contracts; for example mechanical interlocking systems
- Technical and financial close- out; including post project performance reviews to develop lessons learned for sharing with and incorporating into other work scopes
• Achievements:
- Rescued a troubled pig receiver upgrade project on a 3rd party pipeline by successfully negotiating to expedite the work scope of a delaying vendor to reverse a four week schedule overrun
- Recognised for taking ownership of and driving the completion of a number of backlogged integrity work scopes that were incurring notable expenditure in annual inspection and maintenance costs
